VIDEO: Alas! Hehehehehe... Tonto Dike dresses up as a man to attend son’s Father’s Day school event

Nigeria - Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh showed up in her son’s school dressed as a man.
She pulled the stunt because it was Father’s Day in her son’s school and for now, she is playing the role of a single parent due to the turbulence  in her marriage.

She posted the photos of herself costumed as a man on Instagram.
“School father’s day celebration today, I Showed Up For my Son.. #PROUD MOTHER,” she wrote on her page.

Father’s Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. It is celebrated in the United States of America on the third Sunday of June. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May.
Tonto Dikeh’s move is reminiscent of reggae musician, Buju Banton’s 1997 song, Single Parent.
“Consider, how she make it to the end of the day, Working so hard just to get paid. As a single parent life ain’t easy
Playing the role of mom and dad,” the Dance hall reggae musician sang in his tribute to Single mothers.
The Nollywood star got married in 2015 to Oladunni Churchill,a Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, and they have a son from the union.
A separation crisis hit the family in 2017 when it was reported that a certain woman had stepped into the picture, with Tonto Dike removing her husband’s surname from her Instagram account.
The duo waged a war of words on the social media, with Churchill demanding exclusive access to his son.
Trust fans, they always have something to say.

mhisoby who didn’t see anything wrong with the actress’ action wrote ” why are you taking this too seriously.. There is nothing wrong here.. My dad has had to play the role of a mum in my life countless of times because my mum was MIA for that I never joke with him.. Someone has to be there for the kid.. And as his mum she’s obligated to do that and she chose to.. Look around you.. You are the only who sees this as wrong.. I guess you always had both parents that’s why you can type all this bullshit.. For those of us who dint get so lucky… We take what we can get.. You are not in there home.. So you can’t do your analysis based in social media representations.. Be wise”
Some were of the opinion that she took things too far with the stunt.
Utehhazel said, “Real Strength is putting aside your difference with your son’s father long enough for him to actually be there for his son…even if he cudnt make it to the event you didn’t have to dress like a man…
“My dear, this brought tears to my eyes, I am emotionally down as I comment on this your post. This your action weaken me to my bone marrow, how can this cute boy’s father be alive and yet it looks as if the father is no more, please I beg you in the name of God Almighty who made the heaven and earth and who you serve please reconcile with your man, ” favoured babe wrote.
Loveth couldn’t hide her feelings as she posted “oh my God, why do we have to make this kids go through hell bcos of our silly mistakes @tontolet pls no matter what had happen pls let d father have access to his son pls”
Uncle.gwegwegwe said, “I’m a renowned FEMINIST but this is every shade of wrong. You are ridiculing your ex husband in the media. You guys can separate and still make the media friendly to your son, who will grow and see all these shit.”
